Meeting at Orange County Emergency Center
Our April 21st meeting took place at the Orange County Emergency Services 911 Center. After our meeting, Rotarian and Deputy Commissioner Robert Doss gave us a tour of the facility, and we were thoroughly impressed by the scope of services and state-of-the-art technology. Standing in a control room that could rival NASA's, we saw true coordination across departments, from a 911 call through disaster preparedness and response……
We are not only served and protected as residents, but programs also support those who serve us. Philip “Sal” Salinardi, the Peer Support Coordinator, discussed his role in securing services across the county to promote the health and well-being of first responders and their families. We feel truly fortunate to live here in Orange County.
